You can save bibliographic information for a web page using the Capture function in EndNote Web. First you download and install a plug-in for your browser:
The Capture plug-in appears as a bookmark in your browser:
This command scans the bibliographic information stored on the web page and creates a pre-filled reference that you can save to either EndNote Web or the desktop version. To save a reference to your library:
1. Open the web page, e.g. www.CDC.heartdisease.gov/
2. Click the Capture Reference bookmark in your browser.
3. Complete or modify any of the fields:
4. Click the Save to button and select EndNote Web:
Alternately, you can select EndNote when saving a captured reference. This will save the reference to a formatted file that opens in your desktop EndNote.
