Colloquium Digital Library of Life Sciences: Lectures with Videos, Graphics and Images

The UCSF Library now has access to the Colloquium Digital Library of Life Sciences: Collection One, a collection of over 50 lectures covering 5 series: Integrated Systems Physiology: From Molecule to Function to Disease, Developmental Biology, Cell Biology of Medicine, the Developing Brain, and Biotechnology. Each lecture, 50-100 pages long and written by a prominent scholar in the field, synthesizes an important research or development topic in life sciences.

To access the Colloquium Digital Library of Life Sciences, go to the Library’s Databases page and search for Colloquium Digital Library of Life Sciences. Once you see your search result, click on the link to Colloquium e-Books.

What is special is that each lecture is in PDF Plus, which features exciting improvements from the traditional pdf. Traditional pdf documents have text only. The PDF Plus lectures has embedded videos, graphics, images, and links to full-text articles from other sources. Take advantage of these useful features and check out the Colloquium Digital Library!
