Did you know there is a new CLE text editor, called Atto? Not to worry, the current text editor (called TinyMCE) used to add text to CLE course pages, reply to forums, answer essay questions, and much more, is still available as the default editor in the CLE.

As the quarter comes to an end, that means it is assessment time at UCSF! Faculty across campus will use the UCSF Collaborative Learning Environment (CLE) to assess student learning in content ranging from pediatrics to geriatrics. The main activity used for online assessment in the UCSF CLE is the Quiz activity.

Faculty members are using technology to improve communication with students and continue learning outside of the classroom. With a number of communication tools available in the UCSF Collaborative Learning Environment (CLE), choosing the right tool can sometimes be overwhelming.
The UCSF Collaborative Learning Environment (CLE) is getting an update! The CLE (powered by Moodle) will be upgraded from version 2.6 to 2.7 on September 19, 2015 and will be unavailable from 5am-9am to complete the upgrade.
Improvements to the CLE will introduce new features for course formatting, assignments, conditional activities, and quizzes. Continue reading →
