The UCSF Collaborative Learning Environment (CLE) is getting an update! The CLE (powered by Moodle) will be upgraded from version 2.6 to 2.7 on September 19, 2015 and will be unavailable from 5am-9am to complete the upgrade.
Improvements to the CLE will introduce new features for course formatting, assignments, conditional activities, and quizzes. These changes will benefit faculty, students, and staff. Here are some highlights of the most notable updates:
Streamlined courses: New course formatting features will help you organize your courses to eliminate the scroll of death. Here’s is a preview of the collapsed topics feature that will be available following the upgrade (click the image to enlarge):
The new flexible sections feature will also help you organize your activities and resources by giving you the ability to create sections within your topics that allow you to organize your content with headers and subsections.
